Junior Graphic Designer

Due to continuous growth we now require a Junior Graphic Designer to aid our marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the dynamic intersection of graphic design and marketing within our company, with the potential for long-term growth.

This opportunity is a temporary contract with a probation of 3 months. If the candidate meets the company’s expectations, there is an opportunity for a full time permanent role.

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to conceptualise and create visually appealing designs for print materials, including brochures, product labels, packaging and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistency in brand representation across all visual materials.
  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe programs to design and edit graphics.

Print Material Production:

  • Assist in the production process of print materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for distribution.
  • Coordinate with printing vendors to ensure accurate reproduction of designs.

Marketing Assistance:

  • Support the Marketing Manager in various marketing tasks, including content creation for digital platforms, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Contribute creative ideas to marketing strategies and campaigns.

Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and marketing objectives.
  • Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to the Marketing Manager.

Degree of Flexibility:

  • Be open to taking on additional tasks related to marketing and graphic design as needed.

Professional Development:

  • Stay informed about design trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Participate in relevant training opportunities to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite programs.
  • A degree in Graphic Design is desired but not mandatory.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and multitasking abilities.
